Key responsibilities

1. Obtain and manage bank facilities and maintain strong banking relationships.
2. Lead budgeting, cash-flow forecasting, final accounts, and management reporting.
3. Coordinate with external auditors and resolve IRD / VAT matters.
4. Handle and execute TIEP-related documentation and compliance.
5. Coordinate and execute annual renewals of regulatory approvals (customs, CEA, local authorities).
6. Supervise monthly stock takes and ensure controls across all locations.
7. Ensure stores, petty cash, procurement, imports & exports comply with sound accounting practices and governance.
8. Identify wastage and inefficiencies, implementing systems to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
9. Develop and monitor financial KPIs for key staff.
10. Manage and supervise head office and factory teams covering accounts, admin, inventory and procurement.
11. Oversee local retail operations including inventory controls, procurement processes, sales reporting and budgeting.
12. Ability to visit the factory regularly for meetings, reviews and execution of works.

Key requirements

1. Fully qualified chartered accountant (ICASL or equivalent).
2. Part-qualified ICASL, CIMA, or ACCA candidates must possess a minimum of 5 years’ experience in factory/manufacturing accounting.
3. Proven experience in banking, budgeting and financial reporting.
4. Excellent Excel skills and ability to prepare and present budgets and financial proposals.
5. Hands-on, disciplined and commercially minded with strong leadership skills.
