About the company

Sarvodaya, the premier voluntary social development organization in Sri Lanka, immediately requires a dynamic, self-motivated, and service-oriented person to fill the following vacancy.

Specific responsibilities

• Preparation of financial statements
• Preparation of project financial reporting
• Preparation of management reports
• General ledger and account reconciliations
• Liaise with auditors
• Handling corporate taxes

Key qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or part qualification in CA(SL), CIMA (UK) or ACCA (UK) or equivalent
• 4 years’ experience in a similar capacity
• Hands-on experience with computerized accounting (ERP, SAGE, QuickBooks)

• Ability to meet a constant stream of deadlines
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work with minimum supervision
• Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively with different levels of employees
