About the company

We are one of the premier cricket club affiliated to Sri Lanka Cricket and are looking for a proactive and energetic person with a pleasing personality to fill the following vacancy immediately:

Qualifications and experiences

• Age below 50 years.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/ finance part qualified and CIMA, ICA, or ACCA or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Minimum 2-5 years of accounting/finance experience.
• Demonstrate intermediate to advanced skills and knowledge of Excel, as well as other Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with accounting and ERP system.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively across the organization.
• Highly detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of financial reports including financial statements and budgets.
• Ensure compliance with applicable standards, government regulations, and internal control.
• Aid in the implementation of new accounting policies, standards, and guidelines.
• Provide accurate, timely, and relevant recording, reporting, and analysis of financial information.
• Identify areas for improvement and implement improvements to processes.
• Assist with and act as the primary point-of-contact for audit requirements.
• Manage and oversee the company’s assets, ensuring accurate recording, tracking, and depreciation of fixed assets in compliance with accounting standards.
• Maintain confidential information.
