Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating a range of operational activities across the business, including:
- Assist the operations manager in planning, coordinating, executing, and monitoring day-to-day operational, facility, and maintenance activities across all company premises to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Coordinate with tenants, contractors, service providers, and internal teams to address facility-related issues, maintenance requirements, modifications, and operational needs, ensuring timely resolution.
- Oversee fleet management and provide logistics support for warehouse operations, including vehicle coordination, transportation requirements, and other operational support activities.
- Liaise with relevant government and public authorities to obtain necessary approvals, permits, licenses, and clearances, while ensuring compliance with applicable local regulations and municipal standards.
- Monitor lease expiry dates, rental increments, renewals, and other tenancy-related matters, ensuring timely follow-up, proper documentation, and effective coordination with tenants.
- Coordinate the preparation, review, finalization, and signing of lease agreements by liaising with tenants and relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth completion of leasing formalities.
- Coordinate with property agents and brokers for the marketing and identification of prospective tenants when warehouse or office spaces become vacant, while supporting the operations manager in maintaining effective overall property and operational activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in facilities management, building services, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related discipline.
- MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification will be considered an added advantage.
- 3 – 5 years of experience in tenant handling, facilities management, warehouse operations, or building maintenance.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams effectively, and fluency in English language.
- A proactive mind-set with the ability to stay calm, think fast, and solve problems under pressure especially in critical situations.
