The trainee – internal audit will support the internal audit and enterprise risk management function in evaluating the effectiveness of business, financial, and operational controls across the organization. The role provides hands-on exposure to audit procedures, risk assessment, and reporting, and builds a strong foundation for a career in internal audit and enterprise risk management.
Responsibilities
- Support internal audit and enterprise risk management activities across the organization.
- Assist in reviewing and assessing business and finance processes for efficiency, compliance, and control effectiveness.
- Perform payment verification, petty cash reconciliation, and physical inventory counts as assigned.
- Identify and report risks and control gaps identified during audit procedures.
- Assist in preparing audit reports, working papers, and other presentations for management.
Requirements
- Following a professional qualification such as CA, ACCA, CIMA, or an equivalent professional body.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
- Willingness to travel to company locations as required.
