Junior Executive – Agribusiness

Job responsibilities

• Liaise with coconut, fruit, and spice farmers, and engage with new farmers.
• Strengthening the backward integration programs for the coconut, fruit, and spice supply chain.
• Maintaining organic standards & quality of the product.
• Promoting technology adoption for organic cultivation to enhance land productivity and yields.
• Providing assistance and training on post-harvest techniques for coconut, fruits, and spices.
• Collaborates with external parties to enhance agricultural supply chain activities.

Qualification & experience

• Degree or diploma in agriculture related or equivalent.
• Residents of Pannala / Kuliyapitiya area are encouraged to apply.
• Ability to work flexibly across various locations and travel by motorcycle is required.
• Experience in the coconut, fruits, and spices sector, along with agricultural programs for backward integration, would be advantageous.
• Should be a young & energetic team player with strong communication skills.
• A valid motorcycle driving license is required.
