Role overview

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated field officer to support and manage PLANT restoration sites in the Maskeliya region. The role requires hands-on fieldwork, coordination with stakeholders, and regular monitoring of restoration progress.

Requirements

  1. GCE Advanced Level (A/L) qualification or above
  2. Fluency in Sinhala is essential; proficiency in Tamil will be considered an added advantage
  3. Strong communication and coordination skills
  4. Must be willing to work and reside full-time in Hatton

About the company

PLANT (Preserving Land and Nature) of the Wildlife and Nature Protection Society of Sri Lanka is engaged in ecological restoration and conservation across the endemic-rich landscapes in Sri Lanka. PLANT’s Central Highlands Riparian Corridors focuses on restoring degraded habitats, improving biodiversity connectivity, and working closely with local communities.
