About the company

AWC (Pvt) Ltd, a prominent CIDA C-1 graded and ISO-certified construction company in Gampaha District, with a strong and diverse portfolio in road construction, bridge construction, and irrigation projects, is recommencing its construction operations under new management.

As part of this new phase of growth and development, the company is seeking a highly qualified, experienced, and dynamic professional to join its management team.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day construction operations, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget.
• Develop and implement operational strategies, policies and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Lead project management teams, site managers, engineers and other staff across multiple projects.
• Monitor project progress, risk management, compliance and quality control.
• Allocate resources effectively, including workforce, equipment & materials.

Skill requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (chartered preferred).
• 10–15 years of progressive experience in the construction industry.
• In-depth knowledge of construction laws, contracts, permits & regulatory requirements.
• Financial acumen with experience in budgeting, cost control and profit analysis.
• Ability to manage multiple large-scale projects simultaneously.
