Key responsibilities
- Maintain and troubleshoot PLC, HMI, control systems and automation equipments.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of automated machinery.
- Develop, modify, and optimize PLC programs, HMI interfaces.
- Configure and troubleshoot VFDs, servo systems, sensors, instrumentation, temperature controllers, and industrial communication networks.
- Monitor and improve machine performance, production efficiency, energy consumption, and process stability.
- Analyze equipment failures and implement root cause solutions to improve reliability.
- Support installation, commissioning, and upgrading of new automated machinery projects.
- Maintain automation documentation including electrical drawings, PLC backups, and system configurations.
- Support Industry 4.0 initiatives through machine data monitoring, digitalization, and process improvement solutions.
Technical skills
- PLC programming and troubleshooting (Siemens / Mitsubishi / Schneider)
- SCADA and HMI configuration
- Industrial automation and control systems
- Variable frequency drives (VFDs) and motion control
- Industrial sensors and instrumentation
- Electrical control panels and drawings
- Industrial communication networks (PROFINET, Ethernet/IP, Modbus, Profibus)
Qualifications & experience
- Degree in electrical engineering, automation engineering, mechatronics engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 04 years experience preferred in industrial automation, manufacturing processes, and electrical control systems.
- Knowledge of continuous production processes and cable manufacturing operations is an added advantage.
