About the company

A leading tea export company for over 36 years, in over 50 countries. In 2025, we were the third-largest tea bag exporter in Sri Lanka. We market our own brand globally and also offer a total tea solution by packing private label brands and supplying tea in bulk. We are an ISO 22000, HACCP and GMP certified company.

What you’ll do

  1. Maintain accurate and up-to-date stock records of all packing materials in Infor Syteline ERP, ensuring inventory transactions such as receipts, issues, and returns are recorded in a timely and error-free manner.
  2. Support the day-to-day operations of the packing material stores including physical receiving, issuance, and storage of materials in line with confirmed export orders.
  3. Coordinate with the procurement, production, and shipping departments to ensure packing material availability aligns with “make to order” production schedules and shipment deadlines.
  4. Identify and operationalize underutilized modules and functions within Infor Syteline ERP to improve inventory accuracy, reporting, and overall stores efficiency.
  5. Actively participate in the transition and implementation process from Infor Syteline v8.03 to Infor Cloudsuite Industrial (Syteline 10), including data migration support, testing, and process documentation.
  6. Prepare periodic inventory reports, stock movement summaries, and variance analyses to support management decision-making.
  7. Conduct regular cycle counts and periodic stock reconciliations to ensure physical stock aligns with ERP records.
  8. Maintain minimum stock levels for common materials such as filter papers, gum tapes, and thread, and raise timely purchase requisitions through the ERP system.
  9. Assist in establishing and documenting standard operating procedures (SOPs) for stores operations and ERP-based inventory workflows.
  10. Ensure proper housekeeping, labelling, and organized storage of packing materials within the stores premises in compliance with company standards.

What we’re looking for

  1. 2-4 years of experience in inventory management, stores operations, or a related supply chain function.
  2. Diploma or part qualification in logistics, supply chain management, or inventory management from a recognized institution will be an added advantage.
  3. Hands-on working experience with an ERP system; familiarity with Infor Syteline or any similar platform will be a strong advantage.
  4. Strong MS Office skills, particularly in Excel, for reporting and data analysis purposes.
  5. Enthusiasm and ability to learn, explore, and implement ERP system functions independently with minimal guidance.
  6. Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy in maintaining inventory records and documentation.
  7. Good understanding of “make to order” inventory concepts and the ability to coordinate material requirements against confirmed orders.
  8. Good communication and coordination skills to liaise effectively across procurement, production, and export departments.

What we offer

  1. An attractive salary above industry norms.
  2. A comprehensive surgical & hospitalisation scheme for staff and their immediate family members.
