Job description

We are seeking a dedicated, organized, and results-oriented accounts executive to join our dynamic finance team. You will be responsible for handling the day-to-day finance operations of the company, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial transactions and reporting. This role requires working both independently and as part of a team to maintain efficient financial processes and support the company’s growth.

Job role

1. Managing daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivables, billing, and general ledger entries.
2. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
3. Manage and execute bank deposits, payments, and perform bank reconciliation activities meticulously.
4. Responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date books of accounts and processing all necessary payments.
5. Maintain accurate bookkeeping records of all financial transactions.
6. Work closely with internal teams to support financial audits and reporting.
7. Ensure compliance with internal policies, financial procedures, & statutory requirements.

Job requirement

1. Following or part-qualification of a diploma in accounting/AAT/ CA.
2. Excellent knowledge of accounting and finance principles.
3. Sound knowledge of accounting packages (ERP will be an added advantage).
4. Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar capacity.
5. Preferably a female candidate below 30 years of age.
6. Knowledge of MS Office package and e-mail is a must.
7. Good communication skills both oral & written in English and Sinhala.
8. Self-motivated and result-oriented personality.
