Buyer – Men’s & Kids Fashion Retail

Key responsibilities

1. Develop and execute buying strategies for the men’s and kids product categories.
2. Source and negotiate with local and international suppliers to obtain the best products, prices, and terms.
3. Analyze sales performance, customer demand, market trends, and inventory levels to make informed buying decisions.
4. Plan seasonal collections and product assortments to maximize sales and profitability.
5. Work closely with merchandising, marketing, warehouse, and retail operations teams to ensure timely product availability.
6. Manage supplier relationships while ensuring quality standards and delivery timelines are maintained.

Requirements

1. Minimum 2–4 years’ experience as a buyer in the fashion, apparel, or retail industry.
2. Experience handling men’s and/or kids fashion categories will be a distinct advantage.
3. Strong commercial awareness with excellent analytical and negotiation skills.
4. Ability to identify emerging fashion trends and consumer preferences.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
7. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced retail environment.
