Finance manager

Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking an experienced, passionate, and results-driven finance manager to join their dynamic team.

Key responsibilities

1. Financial management and reporting
2. Budgeting and forecasting
3. Cash flow and treasury management
4. Taxation and statutory compliance
5. Liaise with the inland revenue department, labour department, EPF department, and other regulatory authorities
6. Audit coordination and internal controls
7. Accounts payable and receivable management
8. Financial strategy and business support
9. Team leadership – supervise and develop finance and accounting staff, allocate responsibilities, monitor performance, and provide coaching and training to team members
10. Risk management
11. Maintain the confidentiality of financial information
12. Perform any other duties assigned by management relating to finance and administration

Qualifications and experience

1. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, commerce, business administration, or a related field
2. Fully or partly qualified in CA Sri Lanka, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, CMA, or an equivalent professional qualification
3. Minimum 5-8 years of experience in finance and accounting
4. Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a managerial or supervisory role
5. Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, taxation, financial reporting, and audit coordination
6. Strong knowledge of financial management principles and accounting practices
7. Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems
8. Knowledge of Sri Lankan taxation and labour regulations will be an added advantage
9. High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail
10. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
11. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
