Local Procurement Officer | Junior Executive Supply Chain

Leader Kaijie Battery (Pvt) Ltd, Sri Lanka’s leading local battery manufacturer with a strong nationwide retail network, is looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Procurement Officer/Junior Executive Supply Chain to support and streamline our supply chain operations.

Responsibilities

1. Assist in local procurement and timely payment for the suppliers.
2. Coordinate with local suppliers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth supply chain processes.
3. Maintain accurate records of procurement and bill payments.
4. Support the preparation of reports and data analysis for decision-making.
5. Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Requirements

1. Minimum one year experience in supply chain / procurement.
2. Experience in vendor sourcing, vendor management in local procurement is a must.
3. Knowledge of supply chain processes and inventory management.
4. Familiar with MS Excel and ERP / inventory systems.
5. Strong coordination and communication skills.
6. Detail-oriented and disciplined.
7. Ability to work in extended hours as when required.
