Assistant accountant

A leading temperature-controlled logistics service provider, recognized for delivering fast, reliable, and safe logistics solutions. Due to our continued growth, we are seeking a dynamic and committed assistant accountant to join our finance and operations team.

Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

1. Maintaining accurate accounting and stock records
2. Managing accounts receivable and payable
3. Ensuring compliance with company financial policies and procedures
4. Preparation of financial statements and reports
5. Coordinating with regulatory authorities, internal and external auditors
6. Traveling as required to support group companies
7. Supporting finance and operational functions as needed

Requirements

The ideal candidate should possess:

1. Part qualification in accounting (AAT/ACCA/CIMA/CA or equivalent)
2. Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a similar role
3. Exposure to Busy ERP (an added advantage)
4. Strong working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
5. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
6. Strong organizational and multitasking skills
7. A proactive attitude with problem-solving capabilities
