Teardrop Island is a collection of stylish, luxury boutique hotels and villas in distinct regions.
Responsibilities
- Motivate and inspire the team and business to higher levels of culinary excellence.
- Expert food trend knowledge including tracking of food news/restaurant reviews.
- Manage day-to-day Kitchen operations and culinary team, and ensure excellent standards are maintained all the time.
- Support the management team to meet and exceed customer expectations.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to build a strong bank of ideas & focus on development.
- Understand the wants and needs of both internal and external customers to keep us continually ahead of our competition.
- Support management with food proposals, menu pricing, and menu innovation.
- Standardize production recipes to ensure consistent quality.
Prerequisites
- A proven paper qualification from a reputed Institute / University
- Minimum three years of experience in a similar capacity with solid local and foreign exposure.
- Competence and technical know-how of various cuisines.
- Able to think out of the box and create innovative blends.
- Sound knowledge of food safety standards and application.
- Should be able to travel across the Teardrop properties.
- Fully vaccinated candidates are encouraged to apply.
