Finance Manager

We are in the process of looking for an analytical Finance Manager to lead and manage our Finance Department. The selected candidate should be energetic; self-motivated, positive minded with the ability to take responsibilities to complete assigned tasks within the allocated time. He or She will be responsible for entire Finance function of the company.

Job Responsibilities

• Reporting to the management and providing advice how the company and future business decisions might be impacted
• Produce financial reports related to budgets, accounts payables, account expenses etc.
• Develop long-term business plans based on these reports.
• Collecting, interpreting and reviewing financial information-
• Monitor the cash collection, deposit and reconciliation process to ensure accurate recording and safe handling of cash
• Prioritize and pay suppliers on timely basis to ensure smooth business operations.
• Manage an effective relationship with suppliers, banks, auditors and other regulatory authorities for necessary business functions.
• Provide effective business analysis for the management to take right decisions including location wise profitability, category wise profitability, inventory analysis etc.
• Carry out feasibility study for expansions/new projects.
• Ensure effective internal controls are in place to reduce the risk of fraud and develop financial management mechanisms to minimize financial risk.
• Perform cash flow forecasting and analysis, manage the funds effectively and efficiently.
• Reviewing, monitoring and managing budgets of the company.
• Analyzing marketing trends and competitors.

Qualification

• Age between 35 — 45 years.
• Associate Membership in ICASL, CIMA , ACCA, or bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance with Minimum 5- 8 years work experience in a similar capacity in a Commercial Establishment.
• Experience with ERP Software will be an added advantage.
• Excellent communication in English and Sinhala (Both Written and Spoken)
• Strong analytical, multitasking and planning skills.
• Ability to stick to time constraints.
