Reservation & Sales Manager

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supervising and supporting the team with the aim of achieving optimal satisfaction and consistent service levels
  • Resolved difficult issues/problems pertaining to travel on daily basis whilst trying to ensure no additional costs were met for both the company & client
  • Plan and implement an annual marketing plan, and regularly update the management team on the progress to achieving the sales targets
  • Organization and coordination of all promotional activities
  • Keep the department updated with relevant changes in the industry and airline products and services
  • Up-selling, when appropriate, by informing customers of additional services or special packages, such as tour tickets, travel insurance, or upgraded seats/accommodations
  • Liaise with the Finance department for updating data in the system

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in sales & marketing with full or part qualification in IATA
  • Proven Experience minimum 5 years in planning and implementing sales strategies in Travel Industry
  • Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing
  • Proficiency in full Microsoft Office suite, especially with Excel and PowerPoint
  • Age limit 35 40 years
  • Excellent knowledge of computer reservations systems (Amadeus/sabre)
  • Experience managing and directing a sales team
