Animation Editor / Compositor

We are looking for a talented Video Editor to assemble 2D animated footage and Backgrounds into a finished project that matches the director’s vision and is suitable for broadcasting,

Key Responsibilities

• Edit and composite backgrounds and character animations and put them together in the sequence of the film according to the storyboard given
• Input music, dialogues, graphics, and special effects
• Create rough (animatic) and final cuts Colour grading
• Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and the industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency

The ideal candidate should

• have advanced diploma qualifications in Video Production, Graphic Design, Film Studies, Cinematography, or equivalent qualifications
• Have 2-3 years of work experience in Motion Design/Video Production/Post Production and Animation
• Have demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio (provide a link to access same)
• Have a creative mind and storytelling skills
• Have the ability to understand storyboards
• Have an understanding of the 2D animation production process
• Have proficiency in motion graphics, color grading, video formats, and compression codecs
• Be artistic with a keen eye for aesthetics and visually appealing content
• Have solid experience with digital technology and video/image editing software packages, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere, Adobe Photoshop
