Assistant Manager – Information Security & IT Compliance

A vacancy exists for the role of an Executive – Information Technology. The position will be on Fixed Term Contract basis and based in Colombo.

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

• Maintenance of IT security compliance levels
• Risk assessment and controls
• Perform and manage internal and external security audits
• Ensure data classification protocols
• Maintain and manage azure security center
• Identify, Analyze and manage security controls, and risks and mitigate possible security breaches
• Perform vulnerability assessments on internal IT systems with third parties and follow up mitigation plans
• Ensure contractual obligations of third-party service providers with regards to possible security measurements
• User training and awareness
• Ensure IT governance best practices on IT applications, Infrastructure, and Internal processes
• Adaptation and maintenance of group IT policies and preparation of SOPs for sector-specific operations

Required qualifications & skills:

• Degree in Information Technology /Cyber security with a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar capacity
• Cyber security and network-related certifications will be added advantage
• Azure security certification will be added advantage (AZ-500:Microsoft Azure Security Technologies)
• IT IL certification will be added advantage
• Project management skills, customer focus, business acumen, attention to detail, and analytical skills
• Must keep up with the latest trends in cyber security
• Teamwork, communication skills, negotiation skills, attention to detail, decision-making and problem-solving, analytical skills, and time management
• Ability to work under limited supervision and extended working hours when required
