Senior Sales Executive – Hardwaremart Express

Join Hardwaremart — Sri Lanka’s leading hardware supermarket chain — as we expand with four new Hardwaremart Express mini showrooms. We’re hiring experienced, customer-focused Senior Sales Executives to drive sales and deliver exceptional service. Priority will be given to candidates living close to the respective showrooms.

What you’ll do

1. Sales & service: Guide customers, recommend hardware solutions, and confidently close sales.
2. Showroom care: Maintain organized product displays, manage stock levels, and ensure accurate pricing tags.
3. Client relations: Build lasting relationships with walk-in customers and local contractors.
4. Operations: Support inventory checks, handle POS transactions, and mentor junior staff.

What we’re looking for

1. Experience: Minimum 3 years in retail sales or a similar role in hardware, building materials, or construction supplies.
2. Education: Passed A/Ls; a higher diploma in relevant subjects (retail, sales, hardware, construction) is preferred.
3. Gender: Male candidates only.
4. Skills: Strong product knowledge of common hardware items, excellent communication, and a target-driven, confident closing ability.
5. Locality: Proximity to one of the four showroom locations (Avissawella, Kothalawala, Kolonnawa, or Pilimathalawa) is highly preferred.
