Agriculture Extension Officer

An immediate vacancy exists in the above organization for an Agriculture Extension Officer. The appointment will be on contract (1-year renewal basis) for a project that is scheduled to commence operations shortly.

Candidates should meet the following criteria

• Be between 25 to 35 years of age
• Preferably resident in the Wayamba province
• Should possess either a BSc or Diploma in Agriculture
• Computer literate with experience in working with MS Office packages
• Should have a minimum of 2 years of work experience in the agriculture field
• Ability to communicate well in English and Sinhala languages
• Knowledge of Tamil will be an added advantage
• Should possess a motorcycle riding license
