Sales representative – Avissawella

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Representative to join our team and drive the sales of our fertilizer products within Sri Lanka. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the agricultural sector.

Qualifications & requirements

• A diploma or certificate qualification in marketing or similar discipline from a recognized institution.
• Minimum 1-4 years in sales management or 1-4 years’ experience as a sales representative or senior sales supervisor in fertilizer or agricultural industry.
• Should be a dynamic personality with a proven track record.
• To effectively communicate the value and significance of our newly developed products to customers and stakeholders, one must possess a scientific background as well as strong communication and persuasion skills.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned area.

Key responsibilities

• Identify new market opportunities, product placements and promotional initiatives to increase market penetration.
• Monitor sales performance, prepare regular sales reports and provide insights and recommendations to management.
• Coordinate with technical, marketing and operations teams to support sales initiatives and customer requirements.
• Achieve assigned monthly and annual individual sales targets inline with company objectives.
• Organize and participate in promotional activities, trade shows, and farmer meetings.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
