As a Sales Executive – Laboratory, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving our sales efforts, building client relationships and contributing to our team’s success.
What you’ll do
- Lead generation & prospecting: Proactively source new leads, follow up on potential clients and generate sales opportunities.
- Client relationship building: Build and maintain strong connections with both new and existing customers.
- Team collaboration: Work closely with the sales team and other departments to achieve sales targets.
- Sales process management: Oversee the full sales cycle from initial contact up to order completion, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
What you need
- Education: BSc degree in the science stream from a recognized university.
- Qualifications: Professional qualification either completed or in progress such as SLIM, CIM, MBA etc.
- Experience: 1 year of experience in sales and marketing will be an added advantage.
- Skills: Strong teamwork and collaboration skills with result-oriented approach, excellent English communication, MS Office proficiency and knowledge of Tamil is a plus.
Other qualifications
- Ability to understand technical/scientific concepts related to laboratory instruments, chemicals and glassware.
- Friendly, talkative, approachable and capable of building rapport with clients.
- Resilient and patient, handling rejections positively, maintaining persistence.
