Key responsibilities

1. Execute and manage product development projects from concept to commercialization.
2. Conduct formulation development, analytical method development and validation.
3. Operate and maintain laboratory instruments including HPLC and other analytical equipment.
4. Oversee stability studies, data analysis and documentation in compliance with GLP/GMP.
5. Prepare and review batch manufacturing records, specifications and technical reports.
6. Liaise with production, quality assurance and regulatory affairs teams.
7. Oversee factory operations related to R&D activities, ensuring safety, quality and compliance.
8. Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost optimization and product innovation.

Qualifications & experience

1. BPharm or MPharm from a recognized university.
2. Minimum 2–3 years of experience in research & development in the pharmaceutical industry.
3. Strong hands-on experience in formulation development and analytical testing.
4. Proficient in operating HPLC and other laboratory equipment.
5. Knowledge of cGMP, GLP and regulatory requirements.
6. Strong problem-solving, communication and leadership skills.
