Promotion Officer
Responsibilities
- Execute branch promotion activities to maximize awareness of selected campaigns and achieve defined targets.
- Coordinate with distribution team to plan and implement activations in line with pre-requisites, ensuring effective execution across branches.
- Generate leads through branch promotions and support the development of a consistent and sustainable lead pipeline.
- Carry out special sponsorship related activations to support respective regions and branches by:
- Collaborating with RM and BM to organize programs efficiently.
- Executing assigned activations to maximize outcomes and benefits.
- Implement strategic brand activations by:
- Working closely with the manager – brand activation to plan initiatives.
- Collaborating with the team to deliver and achieve set objectives.
- Serve as a compere at company events to enhance the corporate image by:
- Partnering with the brand team and manager – brand activation to host corporate events and branding activities.
- Ensure all assigned KPIs are met within stipulated timelines.
- Undertake additional responsibilities assigned by management, aligned with competencies, to support business requirements.
- Be available for overnight stays and weekend commitments during special annual events and outdoor promotional activities.
Qualifications / pre-requisites / requirements for the position
- Passed G.C.E. A/L with three main subjects in one sitting (excluding general English and optional subjects), and passed G.C.E. O/L with credit passes in mathematics, English, and Sinhala/Tamil (within two sittings).
- Age is preferably below 28 years.
Relevant experience
- Over one year of experience as a promotion officer in an FMCG or insurance company.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Good knowledge of sound equipment, with the ability to manage it effectively.
Skills required
- Ability to work as a team.
- Leadership skills.
- Public speaking.
- High command of PR.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to speak Tamil will be an added advantage.
