• Location -: Sarvodaya Headquarters, Moratuwa.
• Salary -: Rs.160, 000/- per month

Job Profile:

The Project Manager will be responsible for the overall management and execution of Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) and Social Protection. Initiatives under the Building Resilience and Strengthening Community Disaster Preparedness in Sri Lanka project. The individual will lead project planning, coordination, and implementation efforts across various districts, ensuring that the project meets its objectives in line with donor requirements and organizational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all aspects of the disaster management project, including planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders, including government agencies, community organizations, and donors.
• Develop and oversee project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, regulations, and funding requirements.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
• Facilitate capacity-building initiatives and training programs for community stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress and prepare detailed reports for internal and external audiences.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Disaster Management, Project Management, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience of more than 5 years in project management, preferably in disaster management or humanitarian projects.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software.
• Knowledge of disaster risk reduction frameworks and international best practices.
• Ability to work under pressure in diverse and dynamic environments. •
• Fluency in English and Sinhala is highly desirable.
