Production Supervisor

Roofmart (Pvt) Ltd, established in 2004, is a leading steel building construction and manufacturing company with operations in Kurunegala, Matara, and Colombo. We specialize in high-quality roofing, cladding, structural steel, and fencing solutions across Sri Lanka.

We are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented production supervisor to join our manufacturing.

Key responsibilities

1. Supervise daily production activities to ensure production targets are achieved.
2. Plan, organize, and monitor production schedules efficiently.
3. Ensure product quality meets company standards and customer requirements.
4. Lead, motivate, and develop the production team.
5. Maintain workplace safety and ensure compliance with company policies.
6. Monitor machine utilization and coordinate maintenance requirements.
7. Minimize production downtime and material wastage.

Job requirements

1. Diploma or degree in mechanical, industrial, manufacturing engineering, or a related field.
2. Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
3. Strong leadership and team management skills.
4. Good knowledge of production planning, quality control, and workplace safety.
5. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
6. Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.
7. Experience in the steel manufacturing or roofing industry will be an added advantage.
8. Applicants living within 20–30 km of the work location will have an added advantage.
