Pharmacy assistant

Key responsibilities

• Assist in dispensing prescriptions under the supervision of a registered pharmacist
• Provide basic pharmaceutical advice and customer support
• Maintain accurate records and documentation
• Ensure proper storage and handling of medicines
• Support inventory and stock management
• Assist with daily pharmacy operations and housekeeping

Qualifications & skills

• Registered with the SLMC as an apprentice pharmacist
• Pharmacy diploma or relevant qualification (advantageous)
• Good communication skills and a patient-centric approach
• Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Office, pharmacy software is an advantage)
• Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
• Positive attitude and team spirit
