Trainee / Merchandiser

The prospective candidate will be responsible for effectively planning and following up procedures and co-ordinate with the respective sections to align with the delivery of schedules.

Skills/Competencies

• Monitoring and ensuring on-time raw materials ordering in the right requirement
• Follow up on time material delivery and status
• Critical path management
• Dealing with local & foreign suppliers and establishing a good relationship
• Monitoring inventory levels for raw material ordering
• Oversee Support and guide the team and work in collaboration to achieve company KPIs
• Strong analytical and forecasting skills especially in a systemized enjoyment
• Production process and capacity planning
• SMV Calculation In GSD or Other System
• Arranging production Deliveries by coordinating and teamwork

Qualifications.

• G.C.E (Advance level )
• A diploma or certificate course in textile management from a recognized institution will be an added advantage
• A diploma in Supply chain/Degree will be an added advantage
• Professional qualifications in merchandising
• Skills in effective time management, task prioritization, and working under pressurized circumstances to meet deadlines with +100% accuracy

Experience

• Preferably, 2 —5 years experience in merchandising & planning functions at a manufacturing organization. Experience in the hosiery industry will be an advantage.
