Eco Care Bio Energy (Pvt) Limited is a company focused on supplying sustainable bio-energy in the form of wood chips for the manufacturing industry.
We have opened a brand new wood chipping plant located in Thudugala, Kalutara and are now looking for a suitable professional to function as an Operations Assistant.
Key accountabilities
- Assist the plant supervisor to implement planned plant operations to meet customer requirements
- Operate the weigh bridge to issue tickets to ensure that accurate records of receipts and issues are obtained and kept.
- Maintain records of productivity KPIs of the plant – people, machine, energy
- Maintain records of machinery and vehicle maintenance to ensure zero down time
- Assist in following all guidelines issued by various government authorities
- Maintain the cleanliness of the plant and premises
- Work with people who handle production and deliveries
- Maintain and update all records – firewood receipts, production, deliveries – to be able to trace the source of the firewood
- Submit invoices of firewood suppliers for recommendation for payment
Qualifications & experience
- GCE (A/L) examination in technology, commerce or science stream
- Good IT skills
- Minimum 1 year experience in a similar capacity at a manufacturing company.
- Ability to prioritize tasks
- Good communication skills
- Willing to work long hours and during week-ends if the need arises
- Being proactive and target oriented
The remuneration package is negotiable and is based on qualifications & experience.
