Nursing Tutor

Candidate profile

1. Female candidates are preferred
2. SLMC / SLNC registered nurse
3. 10-15 years of proven experience as a nursing tutor
4. Possesses a BSc in nursing from a recognized university or accredited higher educational institution
5. Possession of an MSc in nursing will be considered a significant advantage and a valuable asset for the role
6. Strong background in nursing education, clinical instruction, and student development
7. Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
8. Ability to conduct both theoretical and practical nursing training programmes effectively
9. Strong mentoring, coaching and leadership capabilities
10. Commitment to maintaining high academic, professional, and ethical standards in nursing education

Key responsibilities

1. Deliver high-quality nursing & caregiving lectures and practical training sessions
2. Develop lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessment tools
3. Supervise and evaluate students during classroom and clinical training
4. Provide guidance, mentorship and academic support to nursing & caregiving students
5. Ensure compliance with professional nursing & caregiving education standards and best practices
6. Contribute to the continuous improvement and development of nursing & caregiving education programmes
7. Foster a positive learning environment that promotes excellence in nursing & caregiving practice
