Senior Executive – Merchandising

This an exciting opportunity to join a new MAS manufacturing plant in Thulhiriya in the Cotton Fabrics space as we look to streamline and grow the business. We are on the lookout for a dynamic and energetic individual to join our Sales & Marketing team. As an ideal candidate, you will handle a portfolio of customers from the order confirmation, and inquiry to dispatch of goods to the customer by closely liaising with customers, production, planning, and other support service departments in order to ensure on-time delivery whilst meeting organizational requirements such as sales revenue and
budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure smooth order management by creating sales orders in the system based on purchase orders
• Generating order status reports on a daily basis and following up on production orders to be delivered in line with the dates committed by closely coordinating with internal Planning, Production, Quality Assurance, and Commercial & Logistics teams.
• Responding to order inquiries in a timely manner.
• Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to get feedback for complaints received for bulk orders shipped and to promptly advise the replacement dates.
• Ensuring all receivables are collected when fallen due and addressing overdue debts.
• Perform additional duties commensurate with the current role, as and when requested by management

Qualifications and Experience:

• Degree in Business Management or Marketing from a recognized institute with 2-3 years of experience in a similar capacity.
• Professional Qualification in CIM will be an added advantage.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint.
