Marketing Manager Animal Nutrition and Health

Our client is a publicly listed leading entity in Agribusiness with diversified operations in Pharmaceuticals, Nutraceuticals, and Veterinary products. The organization is on the lookout for a dynamic and result-oriented individual to take on the role of ‘Marketing Manager — Animal Nutrition and Health’ by providing strategic leadership in order to grow the existing business channels.

Responsibilities

• Be fully accountable for developing and implementing strategic marketing plans to support a full range of innovative Animal Nutrition products
• Work cross-functionally with Healthcare Professionals, Distributors, Wholesale Departments, and Retailers
• Develop strategic planning in relation to sales and marketing for all product categories
• Develop strategic relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and industry influencers
• Be fully accountable for managing regulatory affairs
• Align marketing initiatives with channel value propositions, plans, and goals and ensure marketing offerings support the customer
• Overlook inventory, credit control, and manage P&L
• Analyze complex data and make strategic recommendations for business growth

Qualifications & Experience

• Age below 43 yrs. with 5-7 years of hands-on experience
• A Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science or Veterinary Science along with a professional qualification/ membership from CIM/SLIM or any other recognized qualification
• An MBA would be a definite advantage
• Should demonstrate a high level of integrity, patience, and leading by influence while striving for the success of the entire team and business unit
• Solid business acumen and strong communication skills in English and Sinhala
• Ability to motivate with energy and enthusiasm
• Track record of success with progressive responsibility
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and willingness to learn
