Head of Marketing

We are a dynamic and fast-growing finance company, a subsidiary of the Bank of Ceylon, committed to delivering innovative financial solutions to individuals and businesses. As a part of our growth journey, we are seeking to appoint a results-driven and strategic head of marketing to lead our branding and marketing initiatives, reporting directly to the chief operating officer (COO).

Key responsibilities

1. Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with business goals.
2. Build and strengthen brand identity across all channels.
3. Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns (digital, print, events, PR).
4. Drive awareness and lead generation initiatives.
5. Manage external agencies and vendors for marketing materials and media planning.
6. Collaborate with product development team to conceptualize and promote new financial products.
7. Monitor market trends, competitor activities and customer insights.
8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent brand image.
9. Track and report on campaign performance and ROI.

Education & experience

1. Degree from a recognized university or full professional qualification in CIM/SLIM.
2. Master’s degree in marketing, business administration, or related field will be an added advantage.
3. 5+ years of experience in marketing, preferably in financial services or related industries in senior manager capacity.
4. Proven experience in brand management and marketing strategy.
5. Strong knowledge of digital marketing, analytics, and content strategy.
6. Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
