Job Description

• Develop wireframes and interactive prototypes with an intense focus on user needs, tasks, engineering, and business requirements.
• Contribute to the development, documentation, and communication of UX design guidelines, patterns, and libraries
• Partner with our development team to ensure technical feasibility and flawless implementation
• Work on multiple projects in parallel and take individual ownership of assignments from concept to delivery

Requirements

Job Requirements

• B.E/ B.Tech/ MCA/ M.Sc. Computer Science/Degree in Visual Communication, Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Industrial Design, Architecture
• 2+ years of experience as a user experience designer, interaction designer, information designer, or similar role.
• Previous experience in user experience design of Mobile and Tablet based applications on iOS, Android, and Windows platforms is highly beneficial
• Qualification or certifications in related fields, such as Interactive Design, New media design, Graphic Design, or Human Factors area a plus
• CUA Certification from HFI or similar UX certifications would be an added advantage

Knowledge and Skills Requirements

• Understanding of best practices for web and mobile-based information architecture and design, as well as strong knowledge of usability principles and techniques.
• Ability to understand customer needs, motivations, and behaviors and translate them into delightful customer experiences
• Ability to quickly build concept maps, detailed wireframes, low/ high fidelity interactive prototypes, and visual design concepts in an iterative development environment.
• Ability to communicate and demonstrate the value and rationale of own design decisions to business and technology partners
• Strong desire for innovation, balanced with business needs, and customer expectations

Other Requirements

• Expert skill level in the design tools, e.g.  Prototyping tools like Axure, Sketch, Invision, etc, knowledge of Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
• A portfolio with demonstrated examples of designing great user-centered experiences for both enterprise and consumer applications.
