Executive | senior executive – sales & marketing

We seek a self-motivated, dynamic individual with a high degree of drive, enthusiasm, and excellent communication skills for our yarn manufacturing facility in the BOI Zone, Horana.

Key responsibilities

1. Provide high-quality customer service by responding promptly and effectively to client inquiries and resolving complaints in a timely manner.
2. Build and maintain strong client relationships by offering ongoing support, sharing relevant information, and recommending suitable product developments.
3. Monitor bulk and sample inquiries, ensuring timely order processing and delivery through effective coordination with customers and internal stakeholders.
4. Monitor monthly sales performance and ensure annual sales targets and forecasts are achieved.
5. Participate in sales meetings, provide regular updates on sales performance to senior management, and contribute to sales forecasting and budget planning.
6. Monitor customer purchasing patterns proactively and engage with existing customers to facilitate repeat orders and maintain business continuity.

Basic qualification and requirements

1. Academic and/or professional qualification in sales, marketing, or a related field from a recognized institute or university.
2. Minimum 3 years of experience in sales or marketing at the senior executive level. Experience working with overseas customers will be a distinct advantage.
3. Strong ability to identify customer needs, provide effective solutions, and build long-term customer relationships.
4. Excellent communication, presentation, planning, and negotiation skills.
5. Self-motivated, results-oriented, and willing to work with a high level of responsibility and flexibility to achieve sales targets.
