Subjects to be taught

All of the following subjects should be taught in the secondary section (grade 6 – 11):

1. Sinhala
2. Mathematics
3. Science
4. Buddhism
5. Tamil (first language/ second language)
6. Business studies
7. Christianity
8. History and geography
9. Civic education
10. Art
11. Dancing
12. Western music / oriental music

Requirements

1. A degree or a diploma from a recognized university.
2. Candidate should possess more than 1 year of experience in a similar position.
3. Should be able to converse in English thoroughly.
