Disciplinary Officer

We are seeking an energetic individual to join our team as a disciplinary officer.

Job description

1. Conduct thorough and impartial investigations into allegations of employee or member misconduct.
2. Review complaints, policies, contracts, and applicable laws.
3. Interview complainants, respondents, and witnesses.
4. Prepare detailed investigative reports with findings and recommendations.
5. Advise management on disciplinary actions in compliance with local laws.

Job requirements

1. Minimum 6-10 years of experience handling company disciplinary processes (conducting investigations, handling inquiries, issuing show-cause letters, warning letters, and letters of explanation).
2. Licensed attorney-at-law.
3. Sound knowledge of employment law, administrative law, and regulatory procedures.
4. Positive attitude with a pleasant personality.
5. Proficiency in English; Sinhala and Tamil preferred.
6. Willingness to travel to branches and regions outside Colombo, if necessary, to handle inquiries and disciplinary matters.
7. Age below 55 years.
