Manager / Assistant Manager — Business Development (Freight Forwarding)

Responsibilities

• Organize sales calls with existing clients and prospects.
• Generate offers/quotations for potential customers.
• Define standard operating procedures (SOP) related to offers/quotations.
• Teamwork with sales staff and communicating leads requiring a sales action within the network.
• Participate in the local collection and report to management.

Requirements

• 2 — 3 years of experience in business development in freight forwarding.
• Good interpersonal communication and excellent negotiation skills.
• Commercial perspicacity with passion for finding new and innovative opportunities.
• Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• A bachelor’s degree/MSc or MBA in Logistics, Marketing, or relevant field would be an added advantage.
