Email Marketing Analyst (Oracle Eloqua)
Main Responsibilities
- Build email templates, landing pages, and forms using HTML, CSS, or WYSIWYG editors as per branding guidelines and circulate them using popular email marketing automation tools
- Create highly engaging and responsive email/landing page layouts following best practices in design, such as above-the-fold CTA placement
- Create region-/business unit-specific dynamic content blocks for common components such as headers, footers, and sign-offs
- Set up preference center pages to manage subscriptions
- Ensure that email functionality works in all prominent browsers and devices
- Develop and execute detailed test strategies and plans via stringent processes to ensure responsiveness, multi-client rendering and error-free HTML coding in all email assets
- Schedule mass email deliveries accurately by ensuring contacts are mapped to respective tool fields and maintaining an up-to-date contact list
- Execute A/B testing for emails and multi-variate testing for landing pages to increase lead generation
- Develop benchmarks and reports on variances on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis and identify top-performing segments
Required Background
- Willing to work the UK Shift
- A degree in business management or in a related field (Marketing, Computing or Information Technology)
- Over two years of experience working in a similar capacity
- A high level of experience working on marketing automation software, such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Pardot, Exact Target, Eloqua and Act-On
- Strong HTML and CSS skills to understand current email marketing concepts, trends, strategies, and best practices
- Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills with a strong sense of client service
- Strong organizational skills, ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and set priorities, and willingness to work in a team with diverse cultural backgrounds
- Solution-oriented professional with a high sense of quality, attention to detail, accuracy and efficiency. Should be able to meet tight deadlines consistently
- Team player, who is also able to work independently and handle conflicting priorities while maintaining a high level of performance standard on a consistent basis
- Knowledge/interest in capital markets, funds, and asset management will be an advantage
