Puttalam Salt Limited invites applications from dynamic, energetic and results-oriented professionals to lead the company and drive the team to achieve our corporate goals. The company operates large-scale salt manufacturing operations with around 200 employees and 600-700 acres of land dedicated to salt production.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership to achieve the company’s vision, mission and corporate goals.
• Lead, motivate and develop a team of around 200 employees.
• Drive salt production, productivity, quality and operational excellence.
• Ensure effective management of brine and water systems and optimum utilization of 600-700 acres of salt fields and other resources.
• Improve profitability, financial performance and overall business sustainability.
• Develop new business opportunities, market and value-added products.
• Uphold high standards of corporate governance, compliance and accountability.
• Build strong relationships with the board, employees, customers, suppliers and other stakeholders.

Qualifications & experience

• A degree in management, engineering, business administration, finance or a related discipline.
• A postgraduate qualification in management or business administration will be an added advantage.
• Substantial senior management experience, preferably in manufacturing, production, agriculture, plantations, processing or another large-scale operational environment.
• Proven track record of improving productivity, profitability and operational performance.
