Assistant manager – international sales & marketing (food export industry)

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing and executing international sales & marketing strategies
• Identify new international markets and business opportunities
• Support in sales negotiations and manage customer relationships
• Coordinate and ensure smooth export operations with internal teams
• Monitor performance, budgets, and market trends
• Assist in leading and developing the sales & marketing team

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, international business, or a related field
• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in international sales & marketing, preferably in the food export industry
• Strong knowledge of international trade, export procedures, and global markets
• Proven ability to achieve sales targets and expand market share
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
• Proficient in MS Office and CRM tools
• Fluency in Tamil is a must.
