Accountant

Key responsibilities

• Maintain complete accounting records and bookkeeping.
• Record and reconcile daily sales and payment settlements.
• Maintain salary and payroll records.
• Maintain and reconcile service charge calculations and payments.
• Prepare and process supplier and other business payments.
• Bank and cash reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly profit & loss reports.
• Handle VAT, SSCL and PAYE/APIT related accounting and compliance.
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of required tax and statutory records.

Requirements

• Previous experience in restaurant/hospitality accounting is preferred.
• Good knowledge of Sri Lankan accounting and taxation.
• Experience with VAT, SSCL.
