Job profile
- Develop and coordinate semester-based internal assessment calendars, ensuring timely preparation and approval.
- Monitor the planning, administration, conduct, and marking of internal assessments to ensure compliance with academic standards and deadlines.
- Prepare marking schedules and oversee the timely completion and submission of assessment marking activities.
- Coordinate mid-term and final examination schedules, examination logistics, invigilator deployment, and post-examination activities, including the moderation process.
- Maintain and manage accurate student examination records, results, including monitoring students identified as academically at risk.
- Liaise with Swinburne University of Technology and internal departments to ensure the effective coordination and quality delivery of internal and external examinations.
- Prepare examination-related reports, analyze assessment records, and provide relevant information to support academic decision-making.
- Address student queries and concerns relating to examinations, assessments, grades, including academic integrity-related incidents and academic results in a timely and professional manner.
- Support academic training programmes and contribute to the continuous improvement of examination administration and assessment practices.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 quality management procedures and institutional guidelines, while undertaking other responsibilities assigned by management.
Candidate profile
- Bachelors degree or an equivalent qualification from a recognized university. A master’s degree is an added advantage.
- Good command of English (verbal and written).
- Good knowledge of MS Office packages and LMS.
- Strong analytical skills and should be a team player.
- 3-5 years of working experience in a similar capacity will be an added advantage.
