Quantity surveyor (male)
Airow Solutions (Pvt) Ltd is looking for a dedicated and career-oriented male quantity surveyor to join our team. The ideal candidate should have sound technical knowledge, good commercial awareness, and the ability to handle quantity surveying responsibilities independently while coordinating effectively with project and management teams.
Key responsibilities
- Preparation of price proposals, tenders and quotations.
- Preparation and monitoring of project budgets and cost estimates.
- Review and confirmation of contract terms and conditions prior to contract signing.
- Preparation, evaluation and submission of variation proposals.
- Preparation of rate breakdowns and detailed cost analyses as requested by clients.
- Conducting site visits, measurements and quantity verifications when required.
- Coordinating with clients, consultants, project teams and internal departments on QS and commercial matters.
- Maintaining accurate records of tenders, quotations, contracts, measurements and cost-related documentation.
- Assisting in monitoring project costs and commercial performance.
Qualifications & experience
- NCT / HND or equivalent qualification in quantity surveying with a minimum of 2 years of experience in building construction.
- Good working knowledge of MS Office, AutoCAD and quantity surveying / costing software.
- Practical understanding of construction measurement, estimation, costing and contract documentation.
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong planning, coordination, analytical and communication skills.
- Willingness to undertake site visits when required.
- A valid driving licence would be an added advantage.
