J.N. Interiors is a leading interior designing and civil construction company which has earned its reputation for interior designing in Sri Lanka since 1998.

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support our interior design and civil construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating project activities, maintaining communication between stakeholders, monitoring progress, and ensuring projects are delivered efficiently according to agreed schedules and requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day project activities and communication between project teams.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal departments.
• Monitor project schedules, deadlines, deliverables, and progress.
• Assist in preparing project plans, schedules, reports, and presentations.
• Coordinate meetings, site visits, inspections, and follow-up actions.
• Maintain project documentation, records, drawings, correspondence, and approvals.
• Track material requirements, deliveries, procurement, and site requirements.
• Identify delays, issues, and coordination requirements and escalate them appropriately.
• Assist project managers in monitoring quality, cost, and timeline targets.
• Ensure effective communication and coordination among all project stakeholders.

Qualifications & experience

• Degree or diploma in Project Management, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Business Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in project coordination, construction, interior design, or a related industry.
• Strong organizational, communication, coordination, and time-management skills.
• Good knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Experience in preparing project documentation, schedules, reports, and correspondence.
• Ability to coordinate multiple activities and work effectively under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to travel to project sites when required.
