Distillery Manager – Marawila

Rockland Distilleries (Pvt) Ltd, a fourth-generation, family-owned company established in 1924, is Sri Lanka’s second-largest distillery, known for high-quality spirits and fine wines. We are looking for a Distillery Manager to lead end-to-end operations, ensuring smooth, efficient, and compliant production. This hands-on role drives quality, efficiency, safety, and sustainability while inspiring teams to achieve operational excellence and uphold Rockland’s reputation for excellence and integrity.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily distillery operations including mashing, fermentation, distillation, and warehousing.
• Ensure production meets quality, cost, and safety standards in compliance with excise and CEA regulations.
• Manage and maintain distillery equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
• Lead process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and sustainability.
• Supervise the development of new spirit formulations as directed by management.
• Prepare and present production and performance reports to management.

Qualification & skills

• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification.
• 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience in equipment maintenance, budgeting, and safety management.
