Product Industrialization Engineer

GRI is a leading specialty tire producer in Sri Lanka. We have been supplying tires to more than 50 countries worldwide since 2002. GRI has sales offices in the United States, Germany, France, Netherlands, Spain, the Baltics, and Australia. We produce high-performance tires for Agriculture, Material Handling, and Construction vehicles.

We are looking for an experienced individual to fill the following vacancy immediately at our Factory located in Badalgama.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Coordination with product development and prepare Tire specifications & Bill of materials (BOM).
• Coordination with production and planning and arrange Industrialization plan
• Making check tire as per tech Specification & 80M
• Preparing Check tire report (CTA Indoor Test results) as per standard requirement
• Maintaining the Tire weight as per standard
• Preparing spec for a Pilot run based on proto analysis
• Making Pilot run and Evaluation as per standard requirement
• Releasing Final Spec by coordinating with Process & QA
• Configuration and implementation of ERP (IFS system), resolving the problem related to technical.
• Making the Test Protocol Request for every new product.
• Streamlining of process and product by incorporating new systems and/or upgrading existing systems or practices.
• Coordination with Private Brand, making EPR and take approval from PB on mass production.

The ideal candidate will possess the following key drivers

• BSc Engineering / BE with min 4 Years experience in Pneumatic tires
• Knowledge of Tire Engineering (CSF, BSE Pattern design & Simulation)
• Knowledge of Tire Homologation
• Knowledge of Tire processes & Compounding
• Knowledge of PFMEA
• Knowledge of Basic Tire testing (Indoor & Outdoor)
