Marketing Manager

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop a marketing communications plan including strategy, goals, budget, and tactics
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g. marketing) and maintain open communication with senior management
  • Develop and update promotional material and publications (brochures, videos social media posts on various social media platforms)
  • Direct social media team to engage audiences across traditional and new media
  • Leverage existing media relationships and cultivate new contacts within business and industry
  • Coordinate all public relations activities
  • Create content for press releases, byline articles, and keynote presentations
  • Monitor, analyze, and communicate PR results on a quarterly basis
  • Evaluate opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships, and advertising on an ongoing basis
  • Build relationships with thought leaders to grow industry awareness
  • Maintain a keen understanding of industry trends affecting clients and make appropriate recommendations regarding communication strategy surrounding them
  • Prepare administrative procedures and policies
  • Perform administrative duties such as requested by the management
  • Assist with preparation of employee handbook, policies, and internal memos Skills and experience
  • 5 + experience in equivalent position
  • Good Communication, Good Interpersonal Skills, Aggressive in follow-up, Strong negotiation skills
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.

Qualifications

  • BA/MA degree in Marketing Advertising; Communications or a related discipline
